# Innovation and Entreprenuership - Goal 2

## Objectives

1. Provide seed funds in the form of grants to foster innovation down to the community level
2. Explore opportunities to create a two (2) to three (3) year sustainability grant fund in
    partnership with investors that innovators can apply to in order to push ideas further and help
    grow their businesses
3. Examine areas of the city that can be rezoned for innovation, such as has been done with the
    Sacramento railyards, as part of the development of Sacramento’s economic ecosystem
